Learning with Leaders: A Global Power of Mentoring Event

The Canadian Mentoring Partnership teamed up with global mentoring networks around the globe to host a Power of Mentoring virtual event with young leaders ages 18+ on Thursday, September 24 from 8:30-10:00am EST. The 1.5 hour virtual experience included both large group skill-building activities and two rounds of facilitated small group career mentoring discussions leveraging Zoom’s virtual breakout rooms. Participating young leaders had the opportunity to connect with at least two career mentors representing diverse industries, functions and levels around the world. We provided all career mentors and young leaders participating a conversation guide to support career mentoring discussions along with a pre-event guide with tips to consider in advance.
