The Canadian Mentoring Partnership teamed up with RBC to host a Power of Mentoring virtual event with youth ages 18+ on September 18 from 12:30-2:00pm EST.

The 1.5 hour virtual experience included both large group skill-building activities and two rounds of facilitated small group career mentoring discussions leveraging Zoom’s virtual breakout rooms. Participating young leaders received the opportunity to connect with at least two career mentors.

The Canadian Mentoring Partnership provided all career mentors and young leaders participating a conversation guide to support career mentoring discussions along with a pre-event guide with tips to consider in advance.

• Skill Building Activity (15 mins)
• Round 1 – Career Mentoring (20 mins)
• Debrief of Round 1 (5-10 mins)
• Round 2 – Career Mentoring (20 mins)
• Debrief and Resource Sharing (15 mins)
